What We Do
Maker's Space
Being the firm believers of “Circular Economy”, we started building our Above Zenith Maker’s space. Contrary to popular belief, likes attracted each other – we found similar like-minded individuals who enjoyed making stuff and teaching it to others. Converting a 50-year old aircraft and helicopter equipment manufacturing industry into our lab, we’ve given a platform to these artists – to learn Aero-modelling, Metal-working, Rocketry, Carpentry and so much more! For beginners- fret not!
Astronomy Camps
Carl Sagan said that we are a way for the universe to know itself. And what better way to execute other than spending a night out in the wilderness gazing into the cosmos? Run away with us from the light polluted skies to our observation field station of Bortle 3 skies, located at about 60kms from Bangalore.
Biodiversity Camps
Come on, let’s face it who here hasn’t pretended to run away to forest when things got out of hand? With Above Zenith, we’ll give you some awareness about the nature from plant taxanomy to birding to herpetology, from the experts in the field, so that the next time you get an impulse to run away you will be well prepared!
About Us
While accelerating beyond the horizon, we looked at our zenith and we just knew that our startup had to be above the highest point in the sky! Which is why we have worked extremely hard to build our organization, but also, we’re engineers so we have done our smart work too. And if our engineering days has taught us anything it is to share our knowledge be it during study sessions or in examination halls! Just kidding.
We never cheated, mostly because all of us were clueless at the time. This brings us to the main objective of our organization – to give a platform to explore the field of the participant’s choosing, and help them to get on the track of expertise.
Resonance Astronomy Space Camp
Resonance Astronomy Space Camp is a six-day adventure for students in grades 6 to 10. It blends hands-on activities, captivating lectures, and interactive simulations to explore space and develop crucial skills. Led by experienced mentors and with top facilities, it’s a transformative experience igniting lifelong curiosity and passion.

Our Origin Story
Above Zenith started out as a master training a young kid – no, this isn’t the plot of the Karate Kid movie. I was introduced to Mr. Ravindra, former chief of maintenance at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and DIY enthusiast. I was inspired to take up mechanics and aeromodelling, despite having an electronics major. This paved the way to Above Zenith a place where people could find their passion, follow their dreams and get the required guidance to see it through.
We have converted Mr Ravindra’s 50-year-old aircraft and helicopter equipment manufacturing industry into a laboratory, where mentors and experts from different industries train passionate people to pursue their interests in fields like aero modelling, astronomy, carpentry, metal working, electronics and so on.

I had been to a star party organised by Above Zenith. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had with any such events. The camping site , the food , their knowledge on anstronomy and the way the whole party was organised was top notch.
Deep Sky Observation 2023 event hosted by Above Zenith was absolutely phenomenal. It had the perfect balance of enjoyment & informative in the way in which the event was organized. Tent arrangements under a bright starry sky created a surreal environment.
